A Spooky Tale - lyrics to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'

It’s Close To Midnight And Something Evil’s Lurking In The Dark
Under The Moonlight You See A Sight That Almost Stops Your
Heart You Try To Scream But Terror Takes The Sound Before You Make It
You Start To Freeze As Horror Looks You Right Between The Eyes, You’re Paralyzed

You Hear The Door Slam And Realize There’s Nowhere Left To Run
You Feel The Cold Hand And Wonder If You’ll Ever See The Sun
You Close Your Eyes And Hope That This Is Just Imagination
But All The While You Hear The Creature Creepin’ Up Behind You’re Out Of Time

Night Creatures Call And The Dead Start To Walk In Their Masquerade

There’s No Escapin’ The Jaws Of The Alien This Time (They’re Open Wide)

This Is The End Of Your Life

They’re Out To Get You, There’s Demons Closing In On Every Side

They Will Possess You Unless You Change The Number On Your Dial

Now Is The Time For You And I To Cuddle Close Together

All Thru The Night I’ll Save You From The Terror On The Screen, I’ll Make You See

Darkness Falls Across The Land

The Midnite Hour Is Close At Hand

Creatures Crawl In Search Of Blood

To Terrorize Y’awl’s Neighbourhood

And Whosoever Shall Be Found

Without The Soul For Getting Down

Must Stand And Face The Hounds Of Hell

And Rot Inside A Corpse’s Shell

The Foulest Stench Is In The Air, The Funk Of Forty Thousand Years

And Grizzy Ghouls From Every Tomb Are Closing In To Seal Your Doom

And Though You Fight To Stay Alive Your Body Starts To Shiver

For No Mere Mortal Can Resist The Evil Of The Thriller

Aw, you're such a sweetie. I really had a lot of fun doing this contest, despite the fact that I didn't place with any of the round entries. And who doesn't love the Thriller dance?

Great photo rendition of a classic song! The shots were amazing and creative!

Too bad you didn't go further in that contest. If nothing else you were extremely creative!

OMG!!!! This was awesome. I especially liked the pictures where the zombies are rising, and where they surround her! You really did a great job! And that last picture of the Thriller dance made me smile, because it reminded me of my younger days. You're right: who doesn't ove the Thriller dance? Brilliant job!!!

Yeah this looks very nice, it is cute how the zombies surround her and then all, even her, start dancing, it is a great thriller kind of tribute, it is very hard what you did, since it has skelletons dancing, how you did it.

Wow - I'm way behind. I haven't checked these posts in quite awhile.

Gayl - thanks! Yeah, I did pretty crappy in the contest, lol. I didn't even place at all. But I had a feeling I wouldn't, because this was my first contest, and the competition was pretty fierce. But I had a good time.

Lorianne - thank you! Ah, yes. Thriller. It takes me way back. At this time of my life I was a complete obssessed fan of Michael Jackson. I knew all the words to this song by heart (and all the rest of the Thriller album), had pictures of Michael plastered all over my door, and knew just about everything there was to know about him.

I got lots of comments about the characters doing the Thriller dance together, lol. I just couldn't resist. Especially since all the zombies dance in the real Thriller video.

Pablo - well thank you very much! I was really into Thriller when it was popular in the '80's (yeah, I'm old, lol!). Thanks for viewing.
